Lunch Run to Italiano Delight in 8-2013

The Lunch Run to Italiano Delight in Emmaus PA. from Dean's HD was a big success. We had 20 + Bikes we took an hour ride though the back roads and everyone arrived for lunch on time. I got a lot of compliments on the ride and the Destination and will most likely put this ride up again. Below are some photos of everyone that went on the ride, If you didn't go, ask someone that did how they liked everything. When we finally got on some nice roads again and it looked like the ride I remembered, we came across a section that just had fresh oil and stone chips put down. Mom and Dad used to ride back in the 60’s but stopped once family life took over. Then, in the 90’s when everyone moved out, they got the bug to ride again. Dad bought an all black Road King and he and mom would be off on weekends or on long trips to Sturgis and Daytona with friends seeing the country. Continue reading

We Remember Isabell Heimgartner

My name is Robin McCarthy and I wanted to let you know that my grandmother, Isabell Heimgartner passed away at the age of 104. The family wanted to let you know that she really enjoyed riding on the back of your Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Last year when you were at Spring Meadows, the Lansdale Reporter took of picture of her on the back of one and ran it in the paper. That was one of the best pictures of her taken and believe it or not, we used it as the picture in front of her niche at the cemetery. We want to remember her that way. She died in her sleep and went without any pain or troubles. I just wanted to let you know that she talked about riding on the bikes for a long time after. Continue reading
