In Memoriam – Robert A. “Bud” Wagenseller

It is with Great Sadness we announce the passing of (Robert A. “Bud” Wagenseller ) a relative of two of our IVHOG Brothers, George & Karl Wagonseller.

Robert A. “Bud” Wagenseller of Perkasie died Tuesday March 8, 2016 surrounded by his family at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was 85.
Bud was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Albin and Estella Wagenseller.

Bud was a Naval Veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as an Iron Worker with the Ironworkers Local 40. He had the privilege of working on many area buildings including the World Trade Center Towers in New York. Bud worked up until February. Growing up Bud was a Boy Scout with Troop 87 in Philadelphia. He remained active for many years and annually attending his Boy Scout reunions. He was a member of VFW and the Bethpage –Hicksville Masonic Lodge #975 in Farmingdale, NY. In his younger years Bud along with his wife Janet enjoyed playing country music. They had been members of The Wagonaires, a country music band, who played throughout the area. In his free time Bud enjoyed all the outdoors had to offer including Hunting & fishing.

In addition to his wife Janet, Bud is survived by his children Christine Ihlenfeldt (Jeff), Bonnie Holmes, Bob (Donna) Wagenseller, Heather Wagenseller, George Wagenseller, Sharon Friend, Karl (Ginny) Wagenseller, Kurt (Michelle) Wagenseller. He was the brother of George Wagenseller Frances Hurlbert, and Kathryn Wagenseller. Bud is also survived by his many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday March 15, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will commence at 11:00am on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at the Shelly Funeral Home Easton & Keller’s Church Road, Plumsteadville, PA. Internment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Wounded warriors or Boy Scouts of America
