We Remember Isabell Heimgartner
My name is Robin McCarthy and I wanted to let you know that my grandmother, Isabell Heimgartner passed away at the age of 104. The family wanted to let you know that she really enjoyed riding on the back of your Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Last year when you were at Spring Meadows, the Lansdale Reporter took of picture of her on the back of one and ran it in the paper. That was one of the best pictures of her taken and believe it or not, we used it as the picture in front of her niche at the cemetery. We want to remember her that way. She died in her sleep and went without any pain or troubles.
I just wanted to let you know that she talked about riding on the bikes for a long time after.

On behalf of Indian Valley Harley Owners Group, I wish to express our great sorrow for your loss. Isabell was indeed the talk of our club after every Hogs and Dogs that she rode with us. She was an inspiration to the entire club to attend this event and we will miss her.
I have shared your letter with the club and all were affected by this sad news. We were honored and proud to have Isabell ride with us and happy to have been a part of her life. It is stories, such as this, that compel us to get involved in this activity and we thank you form the bottom of our hearts for these kind words. I have no doubt that Isabell now rides a Harley in heaven and will be with us, in spirit, at Hogs and Dogs 2013.
