Update on Mike Martin.

Update on Russell Smith.

Bike blessing – good turnout. I had Dennis go around with a clipboard and had all participants sign in. 117 total bikes attended.

Spring Tune Up/New Member Ride – Fantastic ride to Keystone Harley Davidson.

Upcoming events:

5/10 – Ride to service for John Youell’s Mother’s service.
5/10 – Montgomery County Abate Swap Meet and Flea Market
5/17 – American Riders Beef & Beer
5/17 – Blue Comets Armed Forces Challenge Run
6/8 – Blue Comets Gold Star Mothers (name will be changing to Gold Star Families)
6/28 – Leathernecks Annual Bash
6/29 – Inter Club Party
7/8 – Escorting Vietnam Rolling Wall – Valley Forge Park
8/23 – Bacca Bucks County – Bike Show

Still need to figure out a local non-profit for the club to host a fundraiser for. Pennridge Fish was mentioned.

Assistant Director:

He has received emails from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the Motorcycle Safety Academy looking for instructors/riding trainers. Couple flyers on table.

5/18 – Ride to Journey Church w/Father Fred. May check out the Maquire Air Force Air Show after.

Thanked those who attended the Spring Turn Up/New Member ride.

Upcoming – Memorial Day ride to White Marsh Cemetery for service (Gary hosting breakfast before).

9/7 – Ride for the Heros is back on – check website for details.

Safety Officer:

Feels our club does a great job with group riding. Made a few suggestions –

suggestion that all bikes turn off their running lights except for the sweep so they are easily seen when it’s a large group.
