Thank you to all who showed up at the events yesterday.
PA helmet law has now been introduced, 2nd Right Amendments law, Red Flag laws – one passed by the House and Senate, local elections and Conceal Carry Reciprocity law is in the US House now…..call your representatives to let them know how you feel.
Treasurer:
- Separate report on available funds, income, and use.
Head Road Captain:
- At the Honor and Courage event yesterday, they spoke about a new, groundbreaking treatment for PTSD, which consists of two shots. Spoke to some people there and they said how much it has changed their lives.
- 10/19 – Fall Foliage ride
Safety Officer:
- Buses – if a bus driver waves for you to go when their flags are out, which means their cameras are active, but do not go around as you will be picked up on their cameras and you will get fined.
- Reminder that your rain gear can be a lifeline if you get stuck in cold temperatures. Pantyhose also work well as an insulator.
- Turn signal sequence out of kilter…. it’s brake hard, turn signal then turn. Watch out…give yourself enough room.
- Recent experience with a check engine light came on my bike…learned that if you leave your engine on/off switch off and hold on your trip button and turn on the ignition, that throws your bike into a diagnostic phase and you can go through and looks for trouble codes and those codes are the Harley Davidson codes and then you can look them up online.
- Don also reminded everyone it is that time of year to watch out for deer also mentioned to be aware of road buckle on route 113 and 611.
