Chapter Meeting

Director:

Reminder that elections are coming up. Also, after some soul-searching, I have decided not to step down.

Yesterday was the new version of Bike Night at the Blue Comets. Wasn’t really advertised. Very disappointing turnout across the board.

Thinking of updating the display case at Freedom Valley. Will discuss with Tommy Hannum and Brian.

George, the lead singer from Big Whiskey, has passed away.

Upcoming events:

9/18 – Bike Night at Freedom Valley (last one for the season). We will have a HOG table at the event and are looking for volunteers. If you can help, please see me after the meeting.

10/4 – 12^th Annual Honor & Courage Wounded Warrior Event.

10/26 – Blue Comets Crazy Coffin Run

Assistant Director:

Annual Mardi Gras parade is coming up. Show of hands if you are interested. We need to get new volunteers and need more members to get involved.

Treasurer:

• Separate report on available funds, income, and use.

Head Road Captain:

• 10/4 –Wounded Warrior Escot Ride. Meet up at Colmar to ride to the event. Will put on MeetUp.
• 10/19 – Fall Foliage ride.

Safety Officer:

• That time of the year for temperature swings, still need to hydrate.
• Check your tire pressure.
• Have patience – it is the time of the year when school buses are out. Make sure to give yourself extra time.

Membership:

• Phil could not attend – traveling.

Merchandise:

• Still a decent selection of sizes. Getting ready to place a new order.

Webmaster:

• We still have the IVHog.org website. There is a membership list on there, but you must be logged in to see it.

LOH:

• 10/12 – LOH meeting at Bankers at 12:00 PM
• 11/15 – Ooka at 3:00 PM
• January – possible bowling
• Pete to check with the dealership regarding Chili Cook Off
