Responses to IVHOG Members Meeting

  • It would be greatly appreciated if anyone from our club could show up and support the Quakertown Bike Night event, they are big supporters of IVHOG, and our Toy Run and the Quakertown Police assist IVHOG and our rides regularly.

  • Myself and a couple other members went to Bike Night. It was quite well organized and very peaceful. Last night I ran into Buzz Bender, a Q’Town officer out in Blue Bell and he was asking me what we thought of the night. I advised him that we enjoyed it and gave him a few suggestions for next year. It turns out that a few vendors bowed out at the last minute, leaving them without as many as they had anticipated. Pete

  • I had planned to make the fall foliage ride, but Mac Calla Lodge in Souderton located at Main Street (113) and Church Street is having our Pancake Breakfast on October 13 and I am working in the kitchen. The breakfast is from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and includes SOS, eggs. pancakes, ham, sausage, and potatoes as well as coffee & juice. It is a great breakfast and you can then make the ride without being hungry. At least 6 IV Hog members are members of this Masonic Lodge. For more info call Carl Levin 215-723-2806

  • I was there to support the club, maybe this will start to grow

  • Great articles. A small group of us are doing The Polar Bear Club rides this winter. George Siegenthaller (hope I got the last name right) has asked to join is on the rides. I am looking for his E-Mail address. This weeks ride goes to Danbury Connecticut. Mike Bradley and Bob Reigner will be leading the ride. I can’t make this one, so contact them if interested.

  • George: I need your E-Mail address

  • Hi Gary,

I would like to see a good mix of rides, Poker Runs are ok, But I also like doing destination rides, maybe some overnight rides so we can hang out and get to know everyone. I also like lunch or dinner runs to places I have never been. Thanks, Roger

  • Linda and I just took this Utah Concealed Carry Course and applied for our permits. This was not only worth taking the class to get the carry permit, but it was one of the most informative classes I have had in a long time. The instructor was very knowledgeable an held our interest throughout the class.

  • hey cowboy when and where are the classes held?

  • Hi Gary, I like visiting places that have history behind them. I like overnight and long weekend rides also. How about a IVHOG Polar Bear Ride for Jan. Feb. and March?

  • Sounds like a good idea.. Can you lead us on a January ride ?

  • The Speaker will let you know what is available, depending on size of the class. If its small, he can do them at his classroom. If there are a lot of people that want it, he may be able to arrange something at the moose lodge. We will know better once people sign up. I believe he takes a $50.00 deposit to reserve a spot for any of the classes.

  • Joe Grazizno: We are meeting at Zoto’s diner Sunday morning for the polar bear ride. KSU 10:30 AM sharp. The ride is to Hopewell, NJ 80 to 100 miles round trip. The weather is supposed to be in the 30s, so we will really earn our strips on this one. I need your e-mail and phone # Please send them tto me at inraddad@aol.com

  • Cowboy: I have seen Big Mike shoot and trust me, you do NOT want any other HOG members in the same room when he has a gun !!

  • LOL, Thanks for the heads up, I wont sign up for any of the shooting classes he is in.
Here is my next gun. let me know what you think. http://www.vincelewis.net/60magnum.html

  • Cowboy: Mr. Frentzen forgot to mention that I hit my target ( we were at Target World) and he hit the target as well but it wasn’t his it belonged to the gentlemen in the stalls on either side of him

  • LMAO, I will be sure to clear the line when he comes in, thanks for the heads up.

  • I had a blast, I am HORRIBLE at bowling, but it was fun. The food was great and it was nice to see some people I have not seen in a while.

  • Just what I needed, had a bad week, enjoyed the bowling but was unable to make dinner after, hopefully next time. Thanks to the lady’s for doing a great job.

  • Had a great time. Events like this make the winter more tolerable. Thank you to everybody that organized this and to the people who came and enjoyed it.

  • Trying to find out about bowling tonight, are we meeting anywhere first

  • I have both AVG & Avg security that are the paid for versions. They are a company from the Netherlands and I have found their programs tio be prertty good & reliable. My friend got hit with ransomware and had to have it removed from his computer twice. It usually is rtransmitted to you from porn sites. I would also suggest purchasing a copy of MALWAREBYTES. Most of the people who straighten out computer problems use thsi program. It detects different problems than anti-virus programs.

  • Jason and I will be there

  • Dan and I will be attending the LGN and Men’s Boot Camp on Wed. I will be bringing 2 friends-Melissa and Michelle and Dan will be bringing his friend, Rich. Thank you all, in advance, for the planning and your time spent for this event.
    Judy Macy

  • oops! I inadvertently posted on the wrong event.

  • Fantastic article, the only add i have is the EPA has some killer FAQ’s at http://www.epa.gov/otaq/regs/fuels/additive/e15/e15-faq.htm
They tell you right on the site how few vehicles there are that can use this. It is insane that they are forcing this on people who will accidentally hurt their vehicles. And possibly through no fault of their own. Imagine if a fuel truck comes in and puts this in the WRONG holding tank accidentally, BAM you will pay for their mistake.

  • Just curious, has anyone else noticed their gas mileage has gone down over the last few months? It is really noticeable on the Harley. I wonder if their experimenting already and mixing some in.

  • Karl, it’s unlikely that ethanol is being added unless the pumps are labled with the ethanol content at the new level. There is really no reason to add more due to cost issues and that gasoline producers and marketers (e.g WAWA) are not required to use more than 10%. Something to keep an eye on.

  • Karl, the Start tron aditive brings that gas mileage back up for me when i use it. and i found a great place to buy it at only $6.99 for an 8 oz bottle that fills like 8 plus tanks for me. Home Depot for only $6.00

  • Good to know Roger. With all these bikes I will stock up on it

  • Good story Judy

  • Thank you, George.

  • Looks Great, George!

  • George, the Home Depot is Online only, I went to the store, and they don’t shelf stock it. But you can buy online, and ship to your house or to the store to pick up.

  • Our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. Bob and Roseann

  • Hey Peeps:

The time is fast approaching, June 7th, for the “Ride for the Heroes” and I hope to see all of you there. Last year we had 168 bikes leave Deans (now Hannums) and it would do us proud to hit 200 this year. This is a great event for a great purpose and IVHOG has never been outnumbered. Please help us keep this tradition and make this another record event. Hope to see you all there.
