Easy rider on Harley-Davidson mobility scooter fools the police
Geoff Dickson says officers often mistake his £6,000 electric buggy for a proper motorbike. He has been pulled over after riding on the pavement and hunted down in cafes after parking on a walkway. But police back down when they realise his three-wheeler is fully legal and only capable of 4mph. The buggy is a familiar sight in Wells, Somerset, where the father of three, 64, has been nicknamed the “Wells Angel”. Geoff has the condition HSP – which means his nerves are dying, leaving him unable to control his legs. Continue reading

2013 is Harley-Davidson’s year
2013 is Harley-Davidson's year: the company celebrates the 110th anniversary and everyone connected in a way of another with the Milwaukee manufacturer will feel this. Since this year will also bring some clouds to all the silver lining (Indian and Victory), H-D can't afford only merry making: there's money to be made, so here's one of their newest campaigns advertising bike rentals.
Now, the idea is simply great, as it allows to ride a nice bike in remote places, and enjoy fun times to the max. It's equally awesome for both European guys being able to tour North America on a Harley without all the fuss of sending their own machines across the pond. Continue reading
Linda Joseph – Why I Ride
I was first introduced to motorcycles during the late 1970’s when some friend of ours had a motorcycle and my first husband bought a Honda 550 bike. At that time I was a passenger and during our rides, I looked around at other riders and wondered what it would be like to drive my own motorcycle. After a couple of years, we decided to sell this bike to buy a larger Honda 750. Shortly after that purchase, I got pregnant and that was the end of my riding days. Continue reading
