Harley-Davidson issues large recall of newer bikes
Harley-Davidson is recalling over 105,000 motorcycles from the 2014 model year because their clutches may fail, causing stopped bikes to creep forward and potentially crash. The Milwaukee company also is recalling 1,384 motorcycles made earlier this year to test for possible fuel tank leaks. Continue reading

Stolen Harley-Davidson Motorcycle found after 42 Years
CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- After 42 years, a stolen classic Harley-Davidson was found at the L.A./Long Beach seaport, and it's being returned to its rightful owner. North Carolina resident Edgar Johnson Junior reunited with his father's 1954 Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide motorcycle on Thursday. "Words can't describe how I'm feeling today," said Johnson. The Mother of one of our members Peter Frentzen has passed away, and we share in Peter's grief. Elizabeth A. 'Betty' (Beck) Frentzen of Willow Grove, passed away on Sept. 7, 2014. She was 88. She is survived by her husband, Sherman H. Frentzen; her children, Paul H. Frentzen (Patricia), Peter S. Frentzen (Anna), Gregory J. Frentzen Sr. (Mary Anne), and Lisa A. Ammaturo (Anthony); her 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Continue reading

Motorcycle enthusiast claims Harley voided warranty over American flag
A former state lawmaker from Chippewa Falls who has logged more miles on a Harley-Davidson than probably anyone on the planet says Harley has voided the warranty on his bike because there are too many flags flown on it, including a 3x5-foot American flag. Dave Zien, who rode more than a million miles on his 1991 Harley that's now parked in the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame in South Dakota, says Harley-Davidson refused to honor the warranty on his new motorcycle after the clutch and transmission failed on a recent trip to Dallas. IVHOG, this one is in your own back yard this year. There is no reason you cant come out to the events, support club and have a great time. Special Attraction: Musikfest, the largest music festival in the country, is 10 days (August 1-10) and features more than 300 performers on 13 different stages in the heart of Bethlehem, PA. Claims to Fame: Bethlehem Steel, which supplied steel for the Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge, closed in 2001. Much of the mill remains with walking tours available.
