An Alliance of Bikers dedicated to the protection of the individual rights of motorcyclists through political change, charitable works, and public education.
|HB634 – Motorcycle Processions|
HB634 would give protections to organized group motorcycle rides, allowing the group to pass safely through intersections together, and allowing the group to direct traffic as the entire ride passes through – similar to the way funeral processions operate. Read the details here.
HB634 passed the House of Representatives 172-23 and is now in the Senate Transportation committee. A.B.A.T.E. of Pennsylvania is looking for our help to contact your state Senator and asking them to support this bill. Find your PA Senator here.
Our Chapter Legislative Coordinator, Fred Standaert has drafted a letter that you can use to write your PA Senator. Simply change the name and address of your Senator at the top & your name and address at the bottom. View the letter here.
If you are able to write a letter, do so by Monday, March 9th. Please be sure to send the letter in the mail to your Senator’s local office and not the Harrisburg address. When your letter is sent, please email Fred so that he knows how many letters from our Chapter were sent! [ firstname.lastname@example.org ]
Thank you in advance for your time & cooperation! This is grass roots legislation in action.
